Leather Care Tips
Leather is a unique product of nature. Differences in grain patterns,
range scars and slight color variations should not be viewed as
flaws. Your leather is tanned to last for many years and cannot
be re-oiled by you. Never use soaps, saddle soap, or other all purpose
cleaners to clean your leather. Use of these products can damage
the finish and decrease the longevity of the leather. Simply clean
with a soft clean cloth, wrung almost dry, as needed. Every 1-2
years have LEATHER AND WOOD CRAFTSMEN properly clean and condition
it for you. At that time we can also touch-up any scratches or other
damage that may have occurred. We would also recommend the application
of a leather protectant at this time. We have an excellent protectant
that will help your leather keep that “like new” look. Unlike upholstery,
scratches, rips, stains, burns, etc. can be repaired with leather,
usually back to its original condition. Contact
Leather and Wood Craftsmen to take care of this for you.
